SCAD's next generation external electronic tank sensor adheres to the outside of the tank and cannot be fouled. It can sense through plastic and fiberglass tanks up to 1/2 inches thick up to 30 inches tall (can be positioned on taller tanks toward the direction of the alarm area). This sensor cannot be used on metal tanks.

SCAD's new sensor has auto-calibration and a standard 0-5 volt DC output.

• Acceptable Tank Materials: Plastic and fiberglass 1/2 inch wall thickness or less
• Fluids Sensed: Aqueous fluids such as water and waste
• Supply Voltage: 10 – 16 VDC
• Supply Current: < 4 mA during idle, < 7 mA during measurement period
• Output: 1 VDC Empty tank to 4.9 VDC Full tank<1 VDC Error indicator voltage
• Tank Height Range: 6 inches (15cm) to 30 inches (75cm)
