SCAD Technologies' external sensor is a solid-state level sensor cannot foul and is compatible with SCAD's TM series tank monitors. It is mounted on the outside of plastic water and waste tanks by applying two adhesive backed foil strips. It can sense tanks up to 30 inches tall. The sensor will not work with fuel.
